Wednesday 14th April - walk *** - Around Felixstowe – Sunny periods but
chilly.
Morning at home, I had one eye on the weather as might have sailed but a
cloudy cool morning and marginal winds so decided to give it a miss. Did my
exercises while Mag baked in readiness for tomorrows get together in Kent
with our son Rob with Grandson Arlo who we have not seen since last
November! Then after dinner with the sun now coming out Mag and I went for
a walk to The Grove woods. There was a new born foul in the fields behind
the trees plus the odd squirrel and noisy crows. It was nice and quiet in
the wood with sunshine on the new green leaves:) Back through the town
seeing most of the shops open for the first time! Mag goes home while I
continue to the cliff top overlooking the pier and spend awhile watching
the world go by. I had robins singing, blue tits nest material collecting
and actually the sea looked great for a foiling session! Looking breezy
tomorrow which, I will miss but there might be enough on Friday?
